Theresa Ascaridis
Age 63, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the Auberge at Naperville. She was born in Chicago, residing in Joliet the past 43 years. Theresa received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from The College of St. Francis. She was formerly employed by Metropolitan Life as a paralegal for 26+ years.

Theresa enjoyed traveling and the comradery with her fellow co-workers, including close friend, Cynthia Bronson, who ultimately became her son’s godmother.
Surviving is her father, James Ascaridis of Joliet; her brother, Michael (Beverly) Ascaridis of Skokie; her nephew, Alexander Flatt; her niece, Gina Kanive; her uncles, Spiros (Maria), Dimitries (Katherina) and Elias (Angelica) Alexakos.

She was preceded by her mother, Demetra Ascaridis (2020); and her two sisters, Maria Flatt (2018) and Georgia Kanive (2020).
Funeral Services for Theresa Ascaridis will be Friday, November 12, 2021 at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 102 N. Broadway St., Joliet, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, The Auberge at Naperville, or Kindred Hospice would be appreciated.
