Rialto OKs Interim 4-Month Contract with VenuWorks

JOLIET, IL — The Rialto Square Theatre has approved an interim management agreement with VenuWorks.

The contract will last only 120 days and begin Sept. 1, according to a report from The Herald-News.

During that four-month contract, the Rialto will pay VenuWorks just $1 per month. VenuWorks President Steve Peters said the business “doesn’t want to cost the Rialto anything while assessing and stabilizing the theater,” according to the report.

A multi-year contract is currently in negotiations.
