School Closings For Joliet, Troy, Channahon-Minooka Schools

JOLIET, IL - Joliet Public District 86 issued a short press release shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday announcing that "due to the weather conditions, all Joliet Public Schools District 86 schools will be closed on Friday, Feb. 9." Troy Schools also sent an automated phone message to parents notifying them that all classes were being canceled for Friday. Joliet Township School District issued a bulletin on its website stating that "all JTHS District 204 schools and facilities will be closed Friday, Feb. 9. JTHS students and staff should not report to school."

Joliet Catholic Academy and Cathedral of St. Raymond schools are also closed, along with Valley View Community Unit School District 365U, Channahon School District 17, Minooka Community Consolidated School District 201 and Minooka Community High School District 111.
