Wilmington Teen, 17, Dies In Lorenzo Road Rollover: Coroner
The crash happened near Lorenzo and Cooper roads on Saturday night.
WILMINGTON, IL — A teen from Wilmington died, and her two passengers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries during Saturday evening's wreck. The one-car rollover happened in Wilmington Township at Lorenzo Road and Cooper Road.
On Sunday morning, Will County Coroner Laurie Summers identified the driver as 17-year-old Chloe L. McCully of Wilmington. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash just before 9 p.m. Saturday.
According to Summers, the fatality happened on Lorenzo Road, 550 feet west of Cooper Road. McCully's vehicle was travelling westbound on Lorenzo when it left the roadway, rolled over and struck a fixed object.

Wilmington and Coal City fire departments responded to the site. The Chicagoland Fireground social media site described the event as a major vehicle accident with a pin-in and fatality.
The Will County Sheriff's Office responded to investigate the fatality.
