Victoria's Secret "PINK" Store Opens Friday in Joliet

Chicagoland's first standalone PINK store will host a grand opening for its Louis Joliet Mall location from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 11.

The Victoria's Secret offshoot "will offer lingerie, sleepwear, loungewear, collegiate clothing, beauty products and accessories for college-age women," according to a press release from the company.

The store is located across from Bath & Body Works and is one of the changes at the mall announced in May by Joliet Mayor Tom Giarrante. Once part of the original Victoria's Secret store, PINK was so successful that it expanded into a new storefront. Meanwhile, Victoria's Secret will expand into the space once vacated by PINK.

Other changes at the mall include the addition of Family Christian Bookstores next to Sears and an expansion at Charlotte Russe, the mayor said this spring.
