What Joliet Fish Fries Should I Review This Lent?

In 2019, Patch Editor John Ferak visited a handful of Joliet's best places to eat fish. Now, he's seeking your suggestions for 2020.

As reported in 2019, the Knights of Columbus Hall on the far east side always makes great fish during Lent.

JOLIET, IL — With the season of Lent just a couple more days away, it's time to start thinking about the one meal we can't go without every Friday for the next several weeks. I'm talking about fish.

Last year, I showcased some of Joliet's favorite gathering spots for Friday fish fries. One popular place I featured was the Knights of Columbus Holy Trinity Council 4400 at 1813 Cass Street.

I followed up that food column with another Joliet Patch crowd-pleaser: Croatian Cultural Club: Great Fish, Great Atmosphere.

This year, I've decided to gather your feedback. If I decide to venture out to a few more fish fries this Lent, what places would you recommend? Again, I am only interested in reviewing fish fries in the Joliet area.

In one paragraph or less, please put forth your best argument on why Joliet Patch would be wise to consider a food write-up on your favorite fish fry.

Depending on how convincing you are, I just might pay a visit to your suggestion over the next six weeks.
