Corner Tap Has Another Violent Attack: Wilmington Police
Over the weekend, Wilmington police officers hauled Miranda Sullivan, age 34, in handcuffs, on felony aggravated battery charges.

WILMINGTON, IL — A downtown Wilmington watering hole was the setting for another incident of violence and police response, as 34-year-old Miranda Sullivan of Wilmington was put into the back of a squad car and taken on a ride to the Will County Jail last weekend.
Sullivan has been charged by Will County's prosecutors with two felony counts of aggravated battery. According to her criminal complaint, Sullivan caused bodily harm to another woman who was patronizing the Corner Tap at 201 N. Water Street in "that defendant (the woman) about the arm with a metal object."
The violent attack at The Corner Tap happened on Sunday. Sullivan was let out of the county jail on Monday after posting 10 percent of her $5,000 bail. A Will County judge ordered Sullivan to stay away from The Corner Tap and also have no contact with the victim while the criminal case is pending at the Will County Courthouse.
