Woman Shot In Crest Hill Recovering
Crest Hill Police Chief Ed Clark spoke with Joliet Patch about the crime on Thursday.
CREST HILL, IL — No arrests have been in connection with Tuesday night's shooting of a 25-year-old woman in the 500 block of Pasadena Avenue in Crest Hill. However, Crest Hill Police Chief Ed Clark was optimistic his investigators will be able to track down the culprit. Fortunately, he said, the victim's gunshot wounds were not life-threatening.
Clark said the shooting happened around 10 p.m. Police have impounded the car the woman was inside for evidence.
"We have some leads that our investigators are working on right now," Clark told Patch on Thursday afternoon. "The vehicle was damaged as well."

Clark said it was his understanding the shooting was not a domestic violence situation.
He said the woman who was shot "lives in the area."
