• Record intern wraps up prolific summer of North Shore reporting (therecordnorthshore.org) — Kenilworth residents help power The Record's paid summer internship through the Kenilworth Community Fund, which supports in-depth reporting across the North Shore. This year's intern, a University of Illinois student, produced 40 stories on local festivals, viral neighborhood personalities, and municipal meetings, gaining hands-on experience that strengthens community coverage in New Trier Township and nearby suburbs.
