The Des Plaines Valley Council will hold a Centennial Gala Saturday, October 9th, at the La Grange Country Club.
The black-tie optional affair will unite the Boy Scout leadership with its supporters in the 43 western and southern communities served by the Council in a celebratory highlight of 2010 anniversary activities.
The affair will include appetizers and a silent auction of interesting and valuable items donated by Scouters and area businesses. A formal dinner will be followed by music and dancing, with the music provided by the Shout Section Big Band.
