La Grange Man Arrested In Fight With Lyft Driver: Cops

Another local man is charged with striking a parked car and leaving, according to a police report.

LA GRANGE, IL — The latest La Grange police reports include local men charged with battery and leaving the scene of an accident. Here is information from the reports:

  • Dzmitry Kurau, 21, of Chicago Ridge, was arrested Sept. 29 on a charge of criminal defacement. He was accused of spray-painting graffiti on a wall in a parking garage.
  • Staff at the Starbucks at South La Grange Road and East Harris Avenue told police that a group of boys hit the shop's windows and yelled at a customer about 8:30 p.m. Sept. 30. The customer said he did not know the boys. No threats were made.
  • Trash was thrown all over the playground and a wooden decorative piece was damaged near the garden overnight Sept. 25 at Ogden Avenue School, 501 Ogden Ave. Graffiti was reported at the playground at Cossitt Elementary School, 115 W. Cossitt Ave.
