The board's reorganizational meeting was originally set for last Monday, but it was canceled. The board has not revealed the reason for the cancellation, but it may be connected to a fight earlier that same day that sent one student to the hospital.
At Monday's meeting, the board also adopted a resolution in honor of departing member Alison Kelly, who decided against running for a second term. Kelly said she had enjoyed the job.
"Every decision that's made at LT that I've seen has always been student-focused," Kelly said. "That's not something we ever have to remind each other of."
