• Lyons Township 'Ghost Payroll,' Girlfriend Trips Alleged (patch.com) — A Lyons Township political dispute has spilled into La Grange, with Township Clerk and La Grange resident Elyse Hoffenberg filing a harassment report at the local police station involving Supervisor Christopher Getty. The report details claims of a "ghost payroll," paid trips for a girlfriend, and alleged surveillance, all of which Getty strongly denies. La Grange's Plan Commission member Jeff Hoffenberg is also involved, raising safety concerns to local police.
