Update: Village Church Selects Lyons As Permanent Site
North Riverside-based congregation had been looking at La Grange, La Grange Park locations.
Village Church, which in La Grange and La Grange Park for its permanent site, will hold its services at a school in Lyons, starting Sunday, March 20.
Village Church services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sundays in George Washington Middle School, 8101 Ogden Ave., in Lyons.
The Bible church congregation had been meeting in Riverside at Blythe Park School for the past six months while members where looking for a permanent site, said Pastor , of North Riverside.

Bageanis, a former youth pastor at Emmanuel Bible Church in Berwyn, told Patch in July that they were looking at school auditorium, recreation centers and theaters in the western suburbs for a site.
Congregation members will come from La Grange, La Grange Park, Riverside, North Riverside, Brookfield and Westchester, he said.

Church officials say in a mailing, "We have an awesome band, tons of friendly people from all walks of life and great coffee." they add, "We have a fun, secure and exciting environment for kids - nursery through fifth grade."
