2 Injured in Crash at Highway 41 and Westleigh in Lake Forest

A third car became involved with the mess, but police still don't know how.

LAKE FOREST, IL - Two people were injured in a crash that involved three vehicles in Lake Forest on Tuesday.

A northbound driver on Highway 41 slowed down to make a stop at the yellow light at Westleigh Road around 11:25 a.m. when the car was plowed by the one behind it, according to a Daily North Shore report.

A third car became entangled between the two, although it remains uncertain how that occurred.

The two people injured were taken to Lake Forest Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
