Active Military Personnel Eat Free at Lake Forest Restaurant

'The Profit' star Marcus Lemonis shows appreciation with special menu offered everyday.

The free ‘Military Salute’ meal is part of a special dining menu daily at The Grille on Laurel, 181 E. Laurel Ave.

“We look forward to serving our active troops as they connect with family and friends, and to express how much we appreciate their service and sacrifice,” said Marcus Lemonis, entrepreneur and host of CNBC’s hit reality series, “The Profit.” “It’s our way of saying thank you to those who are currently serving our country, so stop in for lunch or dinner on me!”

Guests will be asked to show proof of active service, which includes military IDs and/or wear of current military uniforms to receive their free lunch or dinner prior to ordering their meal. This program is an enhancement to the restaurant’s existing veteran discount program.

Lemonis became the owner of the business recently, aiming “to bring a fun and modern atmosphere” to the restaurant with a revamped menu and expanded bar lounge.
