Illinois Skill Schools Soccer Camps Visit Lake Forest This Summer!

This summer, Illinois Skill Schools (ISS) will be holding a soccer camp at Lake Forest Country Day School from June 25th-29th, directed by Kyle Jones. The camp provides skill-specific soccer training for 7-14 year olds. Players are taught over 40 individual skills and are encouraged to use these skills in small-sided games. Individuality, skill and success are promoted and players are developed utilizing the "Numbers Approach" methodology. The Camp Curriculum is developed in collaboration with some of the finest English Premier League Youth Academy coaches.

Kyle has previously organized soccer camps in Lake Forest. He is a former Cornell University soccer player and has specialized in skill development for over 10 years. He has coached over 1,000 players and numerous teams throughout Illinois. Over the past two years, Kyle was the Head Coach at The Manchester College in Manchester, England. During that time, he collaborated with some of the finest English professional academy coaches to develop the ISS program.

The ISS program is backed by some of the biggest names in soccer. Phil Jagielka, professional soccer player with Everton F.C and England international, says, "I wish this type of coaching was available to players when I was growing up. The Illinois Skill Schools could improve the next generation of soccer players."
