Area 7th grade girls invited to experience Woodlands March 12
Seventh-grade girls from throughout the area are invited to learn about a Woodlands Academy education during a free special Shadow Day.

Girls in 7th grade from schools throughout the area are invited to a special Shadow Day at Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart on Thursday, March 12, from 8 a.m. to noon. This free event will explore all things that make up a Woodlands Academy education.
From academics to arts, goûter to global education, school spirit to spirituality, participants will get a sampling of what sets the school apart.
Woodlands Academy, again named Illinois’ #1 Best All-Girls High School by independent research firm Niche in its 2020 rankings, is also the state’s top all-girls school in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education, according to a study released in November, 2019, by Newsweek. The magazine partnered with STEM.org to identify America’s 5,000 best STEM high schools. Woodlands ranked among the top 1,000 schools – both public and private.
