Community Representative Needed On Lake Forest High School Board
The District 115 Board of Education is accepting applicants interested in serving two years on its education committee.

LAKE FOREST, IL — Parents and non-parents interested in getting more involved in Lake Forest High School can apply before the end of the month for a spot as a community representative on a board committee. The Lake Forest Community High School District 115 Board of Education is seeking for volunteers to serve on its education committee.
The board is looking for applicants interested in a two-year term on the committee, which is tasked with guiding administrators on accomplishing strategic initiatives and improve student outcomes, Board President Reese Marcusson said in a letter to the community. Community members who serve on District 115's board committees participate in important district work and provide valuable stakeholder input, he said.
"This committee provides oversight to all major District educational initiatives, new programs, and makes recommendations to the Board of Education on major topics or matters related to curriculum and instruction," Marcusson said. "The committee provides guidance to management on the accomplishment of educational strategic initiatives and improvement of student outcomes."
