Crash on Route 60 Injures 8
Three vehicles were involved in a Saturday afternoon wreck in Lake Forest.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Several people were injured Saturday afternoon following a three-car accident on Route 60 near the compost center.
Emergency personnel arrived on scene at 2:37 p.m. and found two cars had been involved in a head-on collision and a third vehicle had swiped a guardrail in an attempt to avoid the accident. A total of eight people were found injured and were transported to nearby hospitals.
The Lake Forest Police Department shut down Route 60 between Waukegan Road and Conway Farms Road for more than 15 minutes while the wreck was being sorted out.
