Deer Path Students Sing Their Way To National Choir

Only about 10 percent of applicants are accepted.

Six Deer Path Middle School students were accepted into the elite American Choral Directors Association National Choir. Only about 10 percent of those who apply are accepted.

In recognition, the students are invited to perform three concerts for thousands of choir directors from around the country. That will be in Salt Lake City in February.

The students include sixth graders Mary Clayton and Sydney Rubenstein; seventh graders Lila Brown and Priya Krishnaswamy; and eighth graders Katelyn Buerger, Claire Jessen, Adam Clayton, and Emerson Hart.
