District 65 Information Night on Kindergarten and Pre-K Registration

LAKE BLUFF, IL - An Information Night for parents of incoming 2017-2018 Lake Bluff Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten students will be held Thursday, January 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Lake Bluff Elementary School.

At the event, parents will get details on registration, kindergarten programs, curriculum and the school district. There will be a brief presentation and tours will be available.

Before attending Information Night, parents are asked to complete Online Pre-Registration at http://www.lb65.org/. To use a laptop with internet access, visit Lake Bluff Elementary School (350 W. Washington Avenue, Lake Bluff, IL 60044) or the new District 65 office or the new District 65 office in the lower level of Lake Bluff Middle School (separate entrance is at the northeast corner, 121 E. Sheridan Place, Lake Bluff, IL 60044) in person Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Registration is open to Lake Bluff children who will be:

 3 years old on or before September 1, 2017 (3 year old Pre-Kindergarten Class - 12 spots available)

 4 years old on or before September 1, 2017 (4 year old Pre-Kindergarten Class - 2 spots available)

 5 years old on or before September 1, 2017 (Kindergarten Program)

The final step for registration is to attend the Kindergarten & Pre-Kindergarten Proof of Residency Events on Thursday, February 7 with a copy of the child's birth certificate and three allowable proofs of residency.

Lake Bluff Kindergarten & Pre-Kindergarten Parent Night is Jan. 20

Parents can choose to attend the February 7 Proof of Residency Event either between 8:00 a.m. and noon at the Lake Bluff Park District, 355 W. Washington Ave., Lake Bluff, IL 60044 OR between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. at Lake Bluff Elementary School, 350 W. Washington Ave., Lake Bluff, IL 60044. In addition to registration, parents will be able to sign up for screening times. Allowable proofs of residency (three are required) include:

1. Parent’s drivers license

2. Home ownership title or deed

3. Home or apartment lease

4. Voter registration

5. Utility bills (water, electric, gas) within past three (3) months

6. Automobile insurance

Please note: Telephone and cable bills cannot be accepted as proof of residency.
