Driver Charged With DUI 3 Times Over Legal Limit: Cops

DUI
Sean W. O’Connor, 33, of the 600 block of Stout Court, Gurnee, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after a May 15 traffic stop.

Police pulled over O'Connor at about 12:13 a.m. near Sheridan and Westleigh roads after receiving report of a possibly impaired driver. During the stop, O'Connor admitted that he had been drinking, and he failed field sobriety tests.

At the police station, O'Connor took a breath test that registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.269, which was three times the legal limit of 0.08.
O'Connor was released on $3,000 bail, and his court date is June 3.
DUI
Faustino Roman, 40, of the 0-100 block of Highwood Avenue, Highwood, was arrested and charged with felonly driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license after a May 8 traffic stop.

At about 3:33 a.m., an officer found Roman asleep in his running car while stopped at the intersection of Polo Drive and Old Elm Road. An open container of alcohol was found in the car, and Roman failed field sobriety tests.
Roman was released on $40,000 bail, and his court date is June 1.
DUI
Scott E. Stacke, 52, of the 300 block of Crescent Drive, Lake Bluff, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use after an April 26 traffic stop.
Police pulled over Stacke at about 9:08 p.m. after seeing him swerve across lane markings and hitting the curb near Deerpath and Mayflower roads. During the stop, Stacke admitted to drinking and failed field sobriety tests.
Stacke was released on $3,000 bail, and his court date is May 27.
