Former LFHS Principal Leaves Lake Forest for Winnetka
District 67, 115 administrator Barry Rodgers will take on a leadership role with Winnetka Public School District 36.

WINNETKA, IL - Winnetka Public Schools District 36 has named Barry Rodgers, the former principal at Lake Forest High School, its new director of innovation, teaching and learning. He will start July 1.
“I am confident that Mr. Rodgers will be integral in spearheading innovative programs that support and challenge staff and students to reach their fullest potential,” said Trisha Kocanda, superintendent of District 36. “His vast experience in leadership positions at Northside College Prep High School and the Lake Forest School Districts, as well as his passion for excellence in progressive education, make him an ideal match for The Winnetka Public Schools.”
In his new role, Rodgers will oversee curriculum development and provide leadership for instruction throughout the District.

“I am excited to serve the Winnetka Public Schools Community and look forward to collaborating with teachers, students, and parents in supporting an environment that exemplifies the best of progressive education and innovative 21st century learning,” Rodgers said.
Rodgers currently serves as assistant superintendent of curriculum instruction, technology and assessment at Lake Forest School Districts 67 and 115. Prior to that, he was principal at LFHS.
