Give the Gift of Innovation and Fun with Robotics and Game Design at Gorton
Gorton Community Center and Sylvan Learning team on new STEM classes

Looking for something unique to put under the tree? Robotics, coding and game design are hot this holiday season, as are “experience” gifts. Gorton Community Center and Sylvan Learning have combined the two with LEGO Robotics and Game Design classes for children in 2nd through 6th grade. Four classes are offered January 11 through February 17:
• LEGO Robotics 101 for Grades 2-4 on Tuesdays at 4:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.
• LEGO Robotics 101 for Grades 2-4 on Sundays at 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• LEGO Robotics 201 for Grades 4-6 on Sundays at 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Game Design for Grades 3-5 on Sundays at 12:45 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.
This unique curriculum aligns with STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). While your child is engaged creating robotics, you’ll know he or she is learning practical and essential STEM skills.
