Golf Clubs Worth $3K Stolen From Jeep in Train Depot Lot: Police

Stolen Lawnmower

A red Toro brand riding lawnmower was stolen from the front yard of a home in the 700 block of Washington Road over the weekend of Nov, 1-2.

DUI Arrest

Marcy K. Leach, 75, of the 100 block of East Laurel Avenue, Lake Forest, was charged with driving under the influence after a traffic stop at 10:14 p.m. Oct. 27.

An officer responded to a cell phone complaint of a possible intoxicated driver. He located the car, driven by Leach, stopped in the road in the 600 block of Westmoreland.

Leach admitted to drinking and failed field sobriety testing. She was taken into custody and later produced a breath sample indicating a blood alcohol content of 0.185. She was processed and released on bond with a November court date.

Golf Clubs Stolen

Someone entered a locked Jeep SUV between 6 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Oct. 27, parked in the east train depot lot and stole a golf bag and set of clubs valued at $3,000.
