Hit and Run Leads to Felony DUI Arrest for Prospects Heights Man: Police

Disorderly Conduct
Connor C. Kirkpatrick, 19, of the 6000 block of Hazelwood Drive, Crystal Lake, was charged with disorderly conduct after a Nov. 11 incident.

Police located what appeared to be a physical confrontation between two occupants of an SUV at about 2:20 p.m. at Deerpath and Sheridan roads. An officer stopped and spoke with both parties separately. Kirkpatrick was taken in to custody for repeatedly punching the steering wheel of the car and trying to push the passenger out of the vehicle during the argument.
Kirkpatrick was released on a $120 bond, and his court date is Dec. 16.

Driving With a Revoked License
Victor A. Rigoni, 28, of the 400 block of West Washington Avenue, Lake Bluff, was charged with driving with an expired registration, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving with a revoked license after a Nov. 19 traffic stop.
Police stopped Rigoni at about 9:25 a.m. at the intersection of Laurel and Western avenues for driving with expired registration. He was then taken in to custody when his driver’s license was found to be revoked.
Rigoni was released on a $2,000 bond, and his court date is Dec. 16.
Hit and Run
Miguel Martinez-Flores, 28, of the 700 block of Piper Lane, Prospect Heights, was arrested and charged with felony driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, driving while license revoked and operating an uninsured vehicle after a Nov. 9 traffic stop.
Police responded to a reported hit-and-run at about 5:37 a.m. on Route 41 where the victim was rear-ended by a silver BMW, which then fled. The victim followed the offending vehicle a short distance until the car broke down. Martinez-Flores, the driver of the silver BMW, was transported to Lake Forest Hospital for evaluation and later taken into custody.
Martinez-Flores was processed and transported to Lake County Jail for a Nov. 24 bond hearing. He is being held on $35,000 bond.
