Investigators Can't Find Cause for Last Month's Megabus Fire in Lake Forest
The extensive damage to the bus hindered efforts by fire officials to discover the Feb. 21 blaze's origin.

The cause of a fire that broke out on a Chicago-to-Minneapolis Megabus in Lake Forest last month has baffled investigators, according to a Chicago Tribune report.
Lake Forest fire officials have been unable to determine why the bus caught fire Feb. 21 as it was traveling through the city on its way to Minneapolis. The extensive damage to the bus stopped investigators from discovering the fire's origin, Lake Forest Fire Department Lt. Larry Grost wrote in his report. Officials, however, did confirm that the blaze began in the lower right rear of the bus, according to the Tribune.
