Lake Bluff Elementary School Teacher Honored
Lake Bluff third grade teacher wins a North Shore Special Education District award.

LAKE BLUFF, IL — The Northern Suburban Special Education District (NSSED) has honored Lake Bluff Elementary School District 65 third grade teacher Samantha Marshall with its Best Practice Award.
The award, given for “Creating an Affirmative and Inclusive Classroom,” was presented on May 16 by Lake Bluff Elementary School Principal Margaret St. Claire, reading specialist Anna Morris, and English language learner teacher Jen Prozument. Members of Ms. Marshall’s family were on hand for the ceremony.
Also recognized were Lake Bluff Elementary learning behavior specialists Kim Novak and Lynn Perschke, who were both nominated for the NSSED Dave Peterson Outstanding Educator Award for their outstanding work in meeting the individual needs of special education students.
