Lake Forest Man Arrested for Sexual Assault

A Lake Forest man wanted on charges that he sexually assaulted a former Gavin South Middle School student was arrested in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Michael R. Vucic, 41, of the 100 block of East Laurel Ave.a teacher at the Ingleside middle school, was arrested Sunday night, according to the Tribune.

The arrest warrant was issued for him in August for five counts of predatory criminal sexual assault and five courts of criminal sexual assault. Bond was set at $1 million.

The female victim told her grandparents that Vucic had inappropriate sexual contact with her multiple times in 2012, according to the sheriff’s office.
