100-year-old was an avid golfer

Lillian Friedeman (nee Lampert), passed away December 14, 2014 at the age of 100 in Lake Forest, Illinois. She was the beloved wife of the late William S. Friedeman, devoted mother of Carol (Robert D.) Scallan and William B. Friedeman (Laurie Schmitt). Loving grandmother of Cacki Jones (Coleman B.), Robert B. Scallan, Blair F. Friedeman, Brooks Friedeman (Jessica Ross) and Colby B. Friedeman. Great grandmother of Pepper and Crockett Jones. Preceded in death by her twin sister, Myrtle Lampert Rose. Her passions in life were family, dear friends and community service, especially the Smith Lounge at Rush University Medical Center. She passionately strived to improve her golf game throughout more than 50 years of playing. Her graciousness and elegance will be deeply missed.
