Mary P. Orticelli, nee Lama, 88, of Lake Forest, passed away December 11, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Sam; loving mother of Carolyn (Michael) Sullivan, Sam (Beth), James (Sarah) and John (Kristina); cherished grandmother of Beth (Joel) Hughes, Matthew (Emily) and Sean Sullivan, Sammy and Leo Orticelli, Jackie (Steve) Coraggio, Alexa, Anthony, Megan, Thomas and Daniel Orticelli; treasured great-grandmother of Madison and Benjamin Hughes and Justin Coraggio; and adored sister of Helen Mudloff,Emily Bartolome and Victor Lama. A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 4-8:30 pm at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park, IL. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 10 am at St. Patrick Church, 991 Waukegan Rd., Lake Forest, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), 11 S. LaSalle St., Chicago, IL 60603.
