Lake Forest Students Among Young Women's Leadership Academy Grads
Students from Lake Forest High School and Lake Forest Academy made up a good chunk of the inaugural class.

Students at Lake Forest High School and Lake Forest Academy made up a good chunk of the 23 graduates of the inaugural 10th District Young Women’s Leadership Academy, a program that began this year under 10th District Congressman Bob Dold to help high school girls develop into leaders in society.
Alexandra Best, Callin Dapier, Lindsey Pristou, Madyllen Kung, Megan McCabe and Rebecca Miller of Lake Forest High School joined Catherine Kvam of Lake Forest Academy as some of the graduates honored at the Cook County Memorial Library in Libertyville on Dec. 15. Students at New Trier, Glenbrook South, Waukegan, Grayslake and Round Lake high schools were also part of the graduation.
According to a Dold spokesperson, the Academy exposes girls to “a variety of different activities and thought-provoking discussions.”
