Lake Forest, Waukegan Partner for North Shore Technology Corridor

Economic development groups to work in partnership.

A partnership with a Waukegan economic development group will allow Lake Forest’s business incubator to extend northward, the Lake Forester reports.

The partnership between the Lake Forest Business Accelerator and Greater Waukegan Development Coalition was made official on March 11 and designed to “enhance networking and other opportunities for members of both groups.”

The partnership will be known as the North Shore Technology Corridor.

Lake Forest Business Accelerator Manager Susan Kelsey says it will supplement the health care corridor already created along I-94.

“The partnership builds on authentic health care and technology clusters in Lake County,” Kelsey said. “By working together with our neighboring communities we can create a powerful region for entrepreneurship.”
