Making High Honors
Lake Forest Academy Students, Lake Forest Country Day School Alumni Receive End of School Awards

Several Lake Forest Country Day School (LFCDS) alumni who are students at Lake Forest Academy (LFA) received high honors across a wide range of academic fields. Among these academic disciplines was Spanish.
Students in advanced Spanish classes at LFA completed the National Spanish Exam earlier this spring. Testing Spanish proficiency, the annual exam is administered by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP).
The AATSP recognized thirty-four LFA students for their academic excellence in Spanish. The following students are LFCDS alumni who were recognized in the competition:

Additionally, three LFCDS alumni were recognized during the 2015 Move-Up Day Ceremony at LFA at the end of May. Move-Up Day, originally called Ivy Day, celebrates the end of the school year and includes the announcement of student awards. This year, the following LFCDS alumni were recognized at the ceremony:
Karisma Chhabria ’11 — Faculty Award
Romaer Chopra ’11 — Alexander Award and the Vaile Award
Alec Mesrobian ’11 — American Legion Award
