North Shore Registered Sex Offender Pleads Guilty to Second Crime, Gets 7 Years

Already on probation for sex with a minor, Dwight Moore abused another minor .

Dwight Moore, 22, pled guilty to a second case of aggravated criminal sexual abuse while on probation for the same thing, different child, Evanston Police Department said.

Moore, of 1832 S. Hamlin Ave. in Chicago, was charged in November 2013, also for aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a minor. Both the 2013 and the 2014 crimes involved family members.

“In July 2014, Moore while on probation for the 2013 crime and a registered sex offender, had made contact with a different family member who was a minor and it was discovered that sexual relations occurred with this minor dating back several years,” the release said.

Police filed charges in September, which led to the guilty plea. Moore was sentenced on Nov. 12 in the Cook County Circuit Court in Skokie.
