• Northbrook Library Collecting Pajamas, Books For Children In Foster Care (patch.com) — Families in and around Lake Forest can support children in foster care by donating new pajamas and bedtime books to the Sweet Dreams Pajama & Book Drive, running through Nov. 15. While the main collection sites are in Northbrook and Deerfield, additional drop-off locations include Lake Forest and nearby suburbs, with all items going to CASA to comfort local kids.
