• Man In Serious Condition After Intentionally Driving Onto Train Tracks: Police (patch.com) — Lake Forest residents saw major disruption Friday after a man allegedly drove onto train tracks near Old Mill and Waukegan Roads and was struck by a southbound freight train, leaving him hospitalized in serious condition. Police say the crash appears intentional and have closed nearby roads during the investigation, while urging residents to use local and national crisis hotlines and the city's social worker for mental health support.
