• Lake Forest Police respond to vehicle and freight train collision near Old Mill Road (lakecountygazette.com) — A serious vehicle–freight train collision near Old Mill and Waukegan in Lake Forest on August 21 left a local driver hospitalized and has nearby roads still closed during the investigation.
