A 12-year-old girl walking to the bus stop said she was approached by a man in a small gray car near the intersection of Windsor and Golfview Roads in Glenview while walking to school about 7:45 a.m. Monday.

“The driver stated, ’hey come in here, have you ever tried chocolate chip cookies?’” according to a Glenview Police Department statement.

After the girl continued walking, the driver pulled into a driveway, blocking the sidewalk in front of the girl. He then rolled down his window and said ”you want to play this game?,” the statement said.

The girl walked in the other direction when the school bus arrived at her stop and she got on it. The man drove away heading east on Golfview Road toward Wagner Road.
