Renovation, Additions Planned for Lake Bluff Middle School

Four projects will be paid for through district savings and a bond issue.

The Lake Bluff District 65 Board of Education has approved the projects, which will cost a total of anywhere from $6.5 million to $9.1 million, according to the Lake Forester.

District savings and a bond issue - which will result in a tax increase of about $112 a year for a $500,000 house in Lake Bluff - will pay for the initiative, which includes four phases.

The project will be put out to bid in spring 2016. Construction is tentatively scheduled to start during the summer of 2016 and last through the end of that year.
