Teen Struck Lake Forest College Security Guard: Cops

Man he was with fled by vehicle and nearly hit another officer.

An 18-year-old Lake Forest man struck a Lake Forest College security guard in the early morning hours of March 21 after he and a Lake Bluff man were told police would be called to campus because they were not students.

According to a police report, Henry M. Dolan, 18, 70 West Laurel Avenue struck one of two security guards that stopped him and Joseph R. Matson, 23, Lake Bluff around 1:30 a.m. and fled on foot. Matson fled in his car, nearly hitting one of the security officers.

Both men were later taken into custody by Lake Forest police. Dolan was charged with battery and disorderly conduct. Matson was charged with reckless conduct. They were processed and released on bond. Both have an April court date.
