Author of Green Bay Packers Book to Speak at Lake Zurich Rotary

Author Susan Sullivan, who worked with Vince Lombardi and the Packers, will speak to the Lake Zurich Rotary Club on January 16.

This Friday, January 16, Sandy Sullivan will speak to the Lake Zurich Rotary Club about her experiences working for Vince Lombardi of the Green Bay Packers and how his philosophy of “It ain’t over until it’s over” influenced her life. Her book, Green Bay Love Stories, has been acknowledged as a significant historical account of the Packers Glory Years and the foreword is written by Packers Hall of Fame great, Paul Hornung.

A reviewer said: “It is doubtful if another woman has so openly and boldly shared with us her personal and private experiences with a professional football team. In fact, few women have had the opportunity or ability to fit in with the “guys” and create friendships which have endured for a lifetime.”

Sandy Sullivan, a life-long Wisconsin resident, is a teacher, businesswoman and motivational speaker. Copies of her book, some signed by Green Bay Packers greats, will be on sale at the Rotary meeting.
