Cheer On 30 Northwest Suburban Contestants for the Rock on Palatine Singing Contest!

EscapeologyArea residents are invited to attend the 2nd annual Rock on Palatine Singing Contest presented by Pan American Bank, on the Main Stage at Durty Nellie's on Saturday, November 19 from 2pm-5pm. Admission is free for this exciting competition.

Thirty contestants from around the northwest suburbs will be singing their hearts out to compete in four different age categories, and four of them will named the contest winners.

"We are looking forward to some serious competition at this year's event," said Jan Wood, owner of JP Wood Martial Arts America. "It is an electric atmosphere to be in, and we hope local residents will join us to root our competitors on!"

Age categories will include: Junior 1 ages 6-10 – 10 contestants, Junior 2 ages 11-13 – 10 contestants, Teens – ages 14-17 – 6 contestants and Adults – ages 18 and older – 4 contestants.

First, second and third place finishers will be named in each age category. First place winners will receive $100 in cash and a trophy, second place contestants will receive a medal and a $25 gift card, and third place winners will receive a medal. All contestants will receive a certificate of completion.

The competition will be held on the Main Stage at Durty Nellie's, which always adds to the excitement. Spectators can enjoy Rock on Palatine food and drink specials for the duration of the event.
