Christine M. DiVincenzo
Services have been scheduled for Sarah Adams Elementary teacher Christine M. DiVincenzo.

Christine M. DiVincenzo, 43, of Lake Zurich, died peacefully at home in her sleep on Friday, Feb. 24. Her cherished husband Greg Sebring and adored toddler son Michael Lee will treasure their many memories, including outings to local parks, Lake Geneva, and family trips to Florida. She was a beagle-lover, with two dogs — Bagel and Maddie.
A daughter of the late Michael and Letitia DiVincenzo, Christine leaves behind two sisters Diane Salas and Janet DiVincenzo, and a brother, Chuck DiVincenzo. Her five nieces and nephews always knew her as just “Tia.” They are Anthony M. Salas, Andrea M. Salas, Brendon DiVincenzo, Taylor DiVincenzo and Alexis DiVincenzo. She is also survived by her caring mother-in-law Betty Sebring.
Christine’s magnetic personality and ever-present smile made her an exceptional teacher and friend. Her passion for pink and purple were obvious to all. Her generosity towards her family and friends was infinite and she loved buying presents for people. She was known for hosting many parties for all occasions, from casino night to backyard barbecues.
A lifelong resident of Lake Zurich, Christine was a teacher for District 95 for almost 20 years and was most recently a fifth grade teacher at Sarah Adams Elementary School in Lake Zurich. Christine followed in the footsteps of her father, who in his later years taught sixth grade at Lake Zurich Junior High. Christine graduated from National Louis University with a B.A. and an M.A. in Education.
