Ela Historical Society to Host Veterans Open House Saturday

View WWII memorabilia donated by Ela Township residents and enjoy free refreshments at the Ela Historical Society's Veterans Open House.

The community is invited join the Ela Historical Society in honoring and remembering township veterans at an open house from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12.

The Ela Historical Society Museum is located at 95 E. Main St., in Lake Zurich.

View a WWII display in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of America’s entrance into the war and learn interesting facts and stories about township veterans. Free refreshments will be provided, while supplies last. We hope to see you there!

The Ela Historical Society is also teaming up with May Whitney Elementary School in Lake Zurich to help document the stories of township veterans for the Veterans History Project. The Ela Historical Society Museum is located at 95 E. Main St., in Lake Zurich, next to Lion’s Park. Business hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
