Fill the Stockings!
Help Ela Charity Knit & Crochet fill handmade stockings with toiletries for pregnant women in need.
Ela Charity Knit & Crochet members have knitted about 50 holiday stockings to donate to pregnant women in need through the Palatine-based nonprofit PHD (Preservation of Human Dignity). Please help them fill those stockings with toiletries (preferably hotel/travel size) such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, toothpaste, brush/comb, etc.
Items can be dropped off through Monday, Dec. 12. at the Community Family Services office on the lower level of the Ela Town Hall at 1155 E. Route 22., in Lake Zurich. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fridays.
