Flames Equipment Handout Night Sponsored by Culver’s

Have dinner at Culver's on Equipment Night!

On Monday, May 19th, stop by Culver’s for dinner and/or desert on the night of Flames tackle equipment handout and help support the Lake Zurich Flames. 10% of your purchase payment will be donated back to help support The Flames!

Culver’s will also be having a special participation contest for the different program levels. The level that raises the most donations will win a free Concrete Mixer Social Night for the entire level, donated by our good friends at Culver’s!

When: Monday, May 19th

Where: Lions Park Equipment Shed. (just past the right field fence)

Time: 6:00pm to 7:00pm JV and Varsity,

7:00pm to 9:00pm all other levels; Blue, Green, Orange, and Red

Who: All Tackle football Players for equipment. All Cheerleaders for uniform sizing. Note: Flag football equipment will be passed out in August.

What should you bring?

• Your child, we will need to properly fit them for their equipment (Football and Cheer)
• A check made payable to "Lake Zurich Flames" for the remaining balance of your full registration fees if you made a down payment or elected to "pay offline" during registration. (Football and Cheer)
• A separate check made payable to "Lake Zurich Flames" in the amount of $250 per player for your tackle equipment deposit. This will be returned to you in full at the end of the season when you return your properly washed and undamaged equipment (Tackle Football only)
• A copy of your child's birth certificate if you did not play for the LZ Flames tackle program last year in 2013 (Tackle Football only)

Additional "required" equipment will be available for sale if you don't already have these:

• Practice Jersey ($30) required for all players that don't already have one
• Girdle with built in hip and thigh pads ($20) also required for all players

Other "required" equipment you will need to purchase on your own:

• Cleats designed for football. Soccer and Baseball cleats are not allowed, also no metal spikes.
• Protective Cup
• A large re-fillable water jug with your child's name on it

Some "optional" quipment you may also want to also consider:

• Equipment bag, Personalized LZ Flames bags ($40) can be ordered through our spirit wear sales.
• Extra mouth guard, kids loose them or chew on them, good to have a spare or one designed to cover braces if needed.
• Under Armor shirts with moisture wicking properties, long and short sleeved for comfort in all weather conditions
• Football gloves, good to have during colder weather

HOLD OFF ON YOUR CHILD'S HAIR CUT! Sports Clips will be at our equipment handout night to give haircuts to the players. We are asking for a $10 donation(more if you like). No tips will be accepted and all money goes directly to support the Lake Zurich Flames!

There will be a Lake Zurich Flames Discount day at Dick's Sporting Goods in Deer Park all day on Saturday, June 7th. Stock up on the things you need and save some money with great discounts.
