Ela Township will celebrate its second annual Township Day on Thursday, September 21.
Join us for a community cookout from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Knox Park, right next to the Ela Town Hall at 1155 E. Route 22, in Lake Zurich.
This family-friendly event will feature free food, children’s activities, a DJ, highway department truck display, expo booths, food drive, blood drive and more. We’re even going to attempt the township’s biggest performance of the “Cha Cha Slide” at 6 p.m.!

Visit the information booths of our community partners, youth athletic groups and nonprofit organizations to learn more about their programs, services and resources.
Bring a non-perishable food item for the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry and receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a flatscreen TV! One raffle ticket entry per family.

Heartland Blood Centers will host a mobile blood drive at Knox Park starting at 3 p.m., (prior to the official kick-off of Township Day) through 7 p.m. All donors will receive a $10 Target gift card. To make an online appointment, visit http://www.heartlandbc.org/event/ela-township-blood-drive/.
