This water shutoff is necessary to replace an outdated hot water system. In order to install a new boiler system, the water needs to be shut-off during the installation.
During the 12-hour shut-off, inmates will be provided ample amounts of bottled drinking water. Any inmate requesting extra water will be accommodated. Arrangements are in place to ensure inmates have water for personal hygiene needs and for toilets to be flushed.
